Kiwi fruit produced in France.

Draft Order extending an inter-branch agreement concluded within the framework of the Inter-branch Association of the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Industry (INTERFEL) and relating to the harvesting and marketing/ripeness dates of the Hayward kiwi fruit.

The draft order extends an agreement aiming to improve the quality of kiwi fruit from Hayward variety Actinidia deliciosa cultivars produced in France by setting a date before which the kiwi fruit cannot be harvested and a date before which it cannot be marketed.

Under this order, the rules set out in the inter-branch agreement for the 2019–2021 marketing years will become compulsory on French territory.

This notification relates to rules which, concerning the three-year agreement, will not change over the next three marketing years. It is therefore valid for 2019, 2020 and 2021. The extension order covers the period from 1 January 2019 to 31 December 2021 at the request of the inter-branch association.
