Ordinance of the Provincial Government implementing the Act on the protection of soil quality (Soil Protection Ordinance)

The draft ordinance contains provisions on soil quality protection. It lays down measures and operational principles to avoid pollution, prevent soil erosion and soil compaction and improve the humus balance. In order to avoid pollution, limit values will be set for foreign and harmful substances in materials which are to be applied to soil (emission) and for the soil itself (immission). The placement of sewage sludge compost on the market in particular will be regulated.
