This technical regulation provides technical requirements, testing methods and quality control of industrial sodium hydroxide (NaOH) produced, imported and traded in the territory of Vietnam.

This Regulation does not apply to pure sodium hydroxide and food sodium hydroxide.

This technical regulation applies to organizations and individuals producing, importing and trading industrial sodium hydroxide, state management agencies and other relevant organizations and individuals.
