Draft Circular Promulgating the List of Products and Goods with Medium Risk Level and High Risk Level under the Management Authority of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment. Language(s): Vietnamese and English. Number of pages: 5 and 5

The Circular is promulgated to replace Circular No. 16/2021/TT-BNNPTNT dated 20 December 2021 of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development promulgating the list of products and goods likely to cause safety risks under the management responsibility of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, serving as the basis for applying methods of state inspection of product and goods quality.

The promulgation of the Circular does not create any new administrative procedures related to state quality inspection of products and goods.

The following products: plant varieties (rice seeds and maize seeds), fertilizers, animal feed, livestock waste treatment products, veterinary drugs, aquaculture feed, and aquaculture environmental treatment products are currently classified as products and goods capable of causing safety risks under Circular No. 16/2021/TT-BNNPTNT, and are therefore subject to quality inspection of imported goods prior to customs clearance. Under the draft Circular, the above-mentioned products and goods have been reviewed, assessed, and classified as products and goods with a medium level of risk. Accordingly, enterprises will not be required to undergo quality inspection upon importation, thereby helping to shorten customs clearance time, reduce compliance costs, and facilitate production and business activities.
