This Draft East African Standard specifies requirements for fresh chilli peppers of varieties (cultivars) grown from Capsicum annuum, C. baccatum, C. chinense, C. frutescens and C. pubescens, to be supplied fresh to the consumer. This standard does not cover requirements for chilli peppers for industrial processing.
