This standard covers the main characteristics of grooved pulleys (groove profile AJ, BJ, CJ and DJ) designed for combined classical V-belts intended for industrial power transmission drive systems.

The effective width of a groove is considered as the main dimension of standardization for grooves that are evaluated as a whole and corresponding combined V belts.

The pitch line position can only be approximated. The approximate pitch diameter of a pulley can be calculated by the following equation. DP = DE - 2BE
