In response to the concerns raised by the public about the safety of carry cots and stands due to incidents in recent years that resulted in severe injuries to infants, the Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection intends to regulate the safety and quality of carry cots and stands. The conformity assessment procedure is either Type-Approved Batch Inspection or Registration of Product Certification (Module 2 + Module 3).
