Based on the provision of paragraph 4 of Article 28 of Act Governing Food Safety and Sanitation, the Ministry of Health and Welfare (MOHW) is proposing to announce that if the word "health" as part of the food product name, it is identified as misleading. However, this regulation shall not apply to food product that obtains health food permit. The draft announce is to avoid consumers having a misleading healthier imagination for the food that has a ''health'' word in its name.
