The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission has proposed the Technical Standard for Unmanned Aircraft equipment with Satellite Earth Station Systems in the Mobile-Satellite Service. The technical standard specifies the minimum technical characteristics required for unmanned aircraft equipment with satellite earth station systems operating in the 1610 - 1660.5 MHz for transmit (Earth-to-space) and 1518 - 1559 MHz for receive (space-to-Earth).
