The Thai Industrial Standards Institute (TISI) has proposed to withdraw the Thai Industrial Standard for Motorcycle Rubber Inner Tubes (TIS 683 - 2530(1987)) and replace it with TIS 683–25XX(20XX) Inner Tubes for Motorcycles and Mopeds as a mandatory standard. The standard covers only new inner tubes designed for pneumatic tyre for motorcycles and mopeds of category L₁, L₂, L₃, L₄ and L₅. It prescribes definitions; types; size designation; requirements; marking and labelling; sampling and criteria for conformity; and testing.
