The notified regulation defines the quantities, units of measurement and symbols corresponding to the International System of Units (SI) and other units outside the SI that have been recognized by the General Conference on Weights and Measures (CGPM). Furthermore, it establishes a common language meeting current requirements with respect to the various measurement activities in the country.
