This Draft Rwanda Standard specifies requirements, sampling, test methods and inspection for antiseptic products based on chlorhexidine gluconate that may contain detergent(s) and other compatible chemical agents, and that are water-miscible and intended for use on live tissue that is free from excessive dirt. This document does not cover the antiseptic products with a chlorhexidine gluconate content of less than 0.5% by volume.
