Proposed amendments to the "Standards and Specifications for Hygiene Products" (74 page(s), in Korean)

The amendments seek to:

1.       Newly establish the specifications for methanol and formaldehyde in hygienic wet tissue used in food service businesses.

2.       Newly establish the specification for formaldehyde in disposable cotton swabs. 

3.         Clarify the specifications for disposable cotton swabs and disposable diapers for children by eliminating the age criteria of 36 months that divides children into two groups
