Proposed amendments to the "Enforcement Rules of the Cleansing and Hygiene Products Control Act"; (26 page(s), in Korean)

The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) is proposing to amend the "Enforcement Rules of the Cleansing and Hygiene Products Control Act" as follows:

A. To include labels and advertisements that may be perceived as having efficacy or effects in the prevention or treatment of disease within the scope of false, exaggerated, or slanderous labelling and advertising B. To add labels and advertisements that state a medical professional (such as a doctor, dentist, or pharmacist) or any other person has certified, guaranteed, or recommended the cleansing and hygiene product to the scope of false, exaggerated, or slanderous labelling and advertising
