Revision of the Mandatory Standard SI 562 Part 1 dealing with the mechanical and physical aspects of the safety of toys. This draft standard revision adopts the European Standard EN 71-1: 2014 + A1: June 2018. 

All significant technical changes introduced in this draft are due to the adoption of the new edition of the International Standard. Both the old standard and this new revised standard will apply from the entry into force of this revision for 90 days. During this time product may be tested according to the old standard or the new revised standard.
