Revision of the partially Mandatory Standard SI 1254, dealing with salads made from vegetable matter and preserved by cold storage. The major differences between the old version and this new revised draft standard are as follow:
· Adds to the standard's scope a few clarifications;
· Changes the normative references.
Both the old standard and the new revised standard will apply from the date of entry into force of the new revised standard for a period of 6 months. During this time, products may be tested according to the old or newly revised standards.
All sections of the revised standard will be declared mandatory after the entry into force of the new revision.
