Revision of the partially Mandatory Standard SI 1351, dealing with cocoa compound, to be replaced with SI 650 part 5. The major differences between the old version and this new revised draft standard are as follow:
· Expand the compound chocolate products and also add white compound chocolate (Paragraph 4, Table 1);
· Adds new microbiological requirements to promote food hygiene (Paragraph 7, Table 12);
· Adds new paragraph 8 dealing with contaminanats.
All requirements of the new revised standard will be declared mandatory.
