Cadmium and lead in plastic profiles in electrical and electronic windows and doors containing recovered polyvinyl chloride

The European Union would like to inform the WTO Members that the draft Commission Delegated Directive amending, for the purposes of adapting to scientific and technical progress, Annex III to Directive 2011/65/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards an exemption for the use of cadmium and lead in plastic profiles in electrical and electronic windows and doors containing recovered polyvinyl chloride has been amended.

The amendments concern the following points:
