The notified Ecuadorian Technical Regulation establishes the requirements to be met by quick frozen fruits and vegetables, prior to the marketing of domestic and imported products, with the aim of protecting human health and preventing deceptive practices.

It applies to the following products:

·         Frozen peas;

·         Frozen broccoli;

·         Frozen spinach;

·         Frozen leeks;

·         Frozen cauliflowers;

·         Frozen Brussels sprouts;

·         Frozen beans;

·         Frozen corn kernels;

·         Frozen corn-on-the-cob;

·         Frozen carrots;

·         Frozen strawberries;

·         Frozen raspberries;

·         Frozen peaches; 

·         Frozen bilberries.
