The notified Ecuadorian Technical Regulation establishes the requirements to be met by dishwashers for household use, prior to the marketing of domestic and imported products, with the aim of protecting the environment and preventing deceptive practices.

The notified Ecuadorian Technical Regulation applies to dishwashers for household use. 

It does not apply to dishwashers for commercial, industrial or professional use.
