The notified Technical Regulation establishes the requirements to be met by enclosures for electrical use, prior to the marketing of domestic and imported products, with the aim of protecting human safety and preventing misleading practices.
The notified Technical Regulation applies to the following products: Enclosures used for the installation, mounting and protection of electrical switchgear. The notified Technical Regulation does not apply to: Panel boards intended for telecommunications, and panel boards subject to requirements concerning electromagnetic compatibility.
