The notified Technical Regulation establishes the requirements to be met by welded steel tanks and cylinders for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and accessories thereof, prior to the marketing of domestic and imported products, with the aim of protecting human safety and preventing misleading practices.

The notified draft Technical Regulation applies to:

1.         Welded steel cylinders for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG);

2.         Flexible connecting hoses for LPG;

3.         Low-pressure regulators for LPG;

4.         Valves for cylinders for LPG;

5.         Inspection of steel cylinders for LPG in circulation; 

6.         Tanks for low-pressure LPG.
