The notified draft Resolution establishes the requirements for the registration with the ICA of producers, packers, importers, exporters and distributors of bio-inputs for agricultural use, as well as requirements for the registration and control of these products. It also establishes the conditions for conducting and approving agronomic efficacy trials for bio-inputs for agricultural use. The provisions set out in the text will apply to all natural or legal persons that produce, pack, import and/or distribute bio-inputs for agricultural use in the national territory. They will also apply to natural or legal persons that conduct agronomic efficacy trials for bio-inputs for agricultural use.
