The notified measure establishes requirements for the implementation of good manufacturing practices and good storage practices in enterprises that manufacture, process, semi-process or store products for veterinary use, including pharmacological, biological, phytotherapeutic and homeopathic products, ectoparasiticides, disinfectants and other related products. Its purpose is to prevent and control biological and chemical risks that could affect animal health and safety in agricultural and livestock production by ensuring that these products are manufactured, handled and stored under conditions that minimize contamination, the spread of disease and other health risks.
