The notified Technical Regulation seeks to establish the maximum sodium content for the food prioritized under the National Strategy for the Reduction of Sodium Consumption, with the aim of contributing to the reduction of arterial hypertension and related noncommunicable diseases, and with the legitimate objective of protecting the health of the Colombian population.
