This document specifies energy efficiency grades，minimum allowable values of energy efficiency, testing methods and implementation requirements for room air conditioners.

This document applies to room air conditioners with air cooling condensers, fully enclosed electric compressors, rated cooling capacity of not exceeding 14000W, T1 climate type and low ambient temperature air source heat pump air heaters with a nominal heating capacity of not more than 14000W. This document does not apply to mobile air conditioners, multi-split air conditioning (heat pump) units, ducted air conditioning (heat pump) units and kitchen air conditioners.
