This document specifies the the general requirements, performance requirements and test methods for electronic stability control system (ESC) for heavy-duty vehicles.

This document applies to vehicles of category M2, M3, N2 and N3 specified in GB/T 15089. This document does not apply to category N3 vehicles with a maximum designed total mass exceeding 25,000 kg, nor to special operation vehicles defined in GB/T 17350.
