This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, labeling and product information of protective gloves against ionizing radiation and radioactive

contaminants. This standard applies to gloves that protect hands from ionizing radiation and radioactive contaminants in working area, gloves that can be installed in permanent sealed chambers, and intermediate sleeves between gloves and permanent sealed chambers. This standard is not applicable to medical radiation protection gloves.
