The notified Protocol establishes the certification procedure for gas-fired outdoor infra-red patio heaters, in accordance with CSA/ANSI Z83.26:2020 – CSA 2.37:2020. In addition, the product covered by this Protocol must comply with SEC Exempt Resolution No. 745:2004, or any provision that replaces it; the appliance must therefore be marketed with a built-in hose and regulator.
