Aprueba texto coordinado y sistematizado de las Resoluciones que establecen requisitos fitosanitarios de ingreso para semillas forrajeras o césped, actualiza requisitos y tratamientos, y deroga Resolución N° 1.011 de 2004 y Resolución N° 909 de 2004 (Approval of the coordinated and consolidated text of the Resolutions establishing phytosanitary requirements for the importation of forage and grass seeds, updating of requirements and treatments, and repeal of Resolutions No. 1.011 of 2004 and No. 909 of 2004) (14 pages, in Spanish)

The purpose of the notified draft measure is to update the phytosanitary requirements for the exportation to Chile of forage and grass seeds. The measure was submitted for international consultation through notification G/SPS/N/CHL/737 under the WTO SPS Committee.

Paragraphs 6, 7, 9 and 10 of this measure include aspects related to packaging materials, quality and requirements on genetically modified materials, which are being submitted for consultation under the WTO TBT Committee.
