The notified Standard establishes the test methods for determining the behaviour and flection resistance of wall, roof and floor segments commonly used in construction. It describes the test method whereby the test piece is in a horizontal position. The procedures described in this Standard seek to reproduce load conditions that are representative of those applicable to the segments when in use. When applying the flection test to floor and roof segments, it is also necessary to follow the instructions set out in Annex A.
