An ammonia emission reduction system based on frequent removal of manure and urine from the floor, reduction of the acidity of the urine via a special profiled rubber floor, and minimisation of the surface area from which emissions occur.

Flanders is making significant efforts to reduce ammonia emissions by the agricultural sector. Ammonia emission reduction measures play an important role in this. For this purpose, a list of ammonia emission reduction measures is included in the regulations, which also describe the way in which ammonia emission reduction measures can be included in the regulations.

This amending decision adds a new measure.
