DRAFT - Model Guideline on Fire Protection Requirements for Cable Systems (Model Cable System Guideline - MLAR) - Version 10/02/2015 - last amended by resolution of the Expert Committee for Building Supervision of 24 April 2026

The MLAR specifies the fire protection requirements for cable systems in escape routes formulated in Section 40 Paragraph 2 of the Model Building Code, as well as the routing of cables through fire-compartment walls and the functional integrity of electrical cable systems in the event of a fire.
