Proposal for a Decree of the Ministry of the Environment amending the Decree of the Ministry of the Environment on the energy performance certificates of buildings

The proposal proposes to amend the current Decree of the Ministry of the Environment on the energy performance certificates of buildings (1048/2017). It is proposed that the Regulation be amended to bring it into line with the requirements of the recast Directive (EU) 2024/1275 on the Energy Performance of Buildings. Changes are proposed, among other things, to the terminology used in energy performance certificates, the calculation rules, the grouping of buildings for energy classification purposes, the format of the energy performance certificate, and the information to be included in the certificate. In addition, more detailed provisions would be laid down on the information to be presented in the renovation passport and the model of the renovation passport.
