Decree amending Decree No 146/2024 on construction requirements

Under the Building Act, legal persons, natural persons and administrative authorities are required to comply with general technical requirements for construction in the design, siting, planning, permission, construction, approval, use and removal of buildings.

These requirements are laid down in detail in Decree No 146/2024 on construction requirements. The Decree is now being amended primarily to implement the requirements arising from Directive (EU) 2024/1275 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 24 April 2024 on the energy performance of buildings, amending Directive 2010/31/ EU.
This Directive requires the designation of parking spaces for bicycles in buildings and increases the stringency of certain
requirements concerning the installation of recharging points.
It contains technical standards that were included in the previous notification 2024/0095/CZ.
