Ordinance of the Federal Minister for Labour, Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection amending the Bathing Water Hygiene Ordinance 2012 (BHygV 2012) (2nd Amendment to the Bathing Water Hygiene Ordinance 2012)

Adaptations of the provisions of the BHygV 2012 to the current state of science and technology. The proposed new regulations are intended to continue to ensure the minimisation of the transmission of pathogens and thus the health protection of bathers in the best possible way.

By adapting the regulations with regard to the organisational processes or procedures in the area of bathroom hygiene, the aim is to work towards their optimisation. In doing so, the draft is intended to take into account both the experience gained from enforcement practice since the adoption of the 2012 BHygV and the needs of operators.
