Quick-frozen foodstuffs and certain quick-frozen semi-prepared and ready-to-serve meals

Draft Decree amending Decree No 152/2009 of 12 November of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development on the mandatory requirements of the Codex Alimentarius Hungaricus with regard to its regulation on quick-frozen foodstuffs and certain quick-frozen semi-prepared and ready-to-serve meal

The draft Decree amending Decree No 152/2009 of 12 November of the Ministry for Agriculture and Rural Development on the mandatory requirements of the Codex Alimentarius Hungaricus lays down the Hungarian Food Code’s regulation on quick-frozen foodstuffs and certain quick-frozen semi-prepared and ready-to-serve meals.

The aim is to ensure that, in addition to EU standards for quick-frozen foodstuffs, in the national legislation consumers are provided with adequate information on the quality of certain quick-frozen semi-prepared and ready-to-serve meals.
