RESOLUTION OF THE DIRECTORATE GENERAL FOR GAMBLING REGULATION, APPROVING THE MECHANISM FOR DETECTING RISK BEHAVIOUR IN USERS

The purpose of this resolution is to establish a mechanism for detecting risk behaviour based on common criteria and thresholds, applicable on a mandatory basis by all operators. This will allow for an homogeneous categorisation of at-risk gamblers regardless of the operator with which the participant is playing, While this categorisation does not constitute a clinical diagnosis of illness, it does allow for the activation of the protective measures provided for in Royal Decree 176/2023, of 14 March, which is intended for these individuals.
