VARIOUS AGRICULTURAL REGULATIONS

DRAFT ROYAL DECREE AMENDING ROYAL DECREE 988/2022, OF 29 NOVEMBER, REGULATING THE GENERAL REGISTER OF BEST AVAILABLE TECHNIQUES IN FARMING AND THE SUPPORT FOR THE CALCULATION, MONITORING AND NOTIFICATION OF EMISSIONS IN LIVESTOCK FARMING AND VARIOUS AGRICULTURAL REGULATIONS.

Annual declaration to the General Register of Best Available Techniques (BATs) for all livestock farmers is made mandatory. Currently, it is only mandatory if the data in Annex I is amended.

The annexes to the regulation are amended to: include data corresponding to bovine animals, improve the quality of the information and the understanding of some concepts and to correct some definitions. The list of fuel types used on farms in Annex I is extended in order to align it with the applicable EU legislation.

A reference to Law 30/2022 is included within the regulations applicable to infringements and penalties.
