Draft Royal Decree regulating the legal framework regarding the obligation to promote European audiovisual works and linguistic diversity

This draft royal decree aims to approve the implementing regulation for Chapter III of the General Law on Audiovisual Communication (hereinafter LGCA), relating to the promotion of European audiovisual works and linguistic diversity included in its Title VI, which deals with the obligations to be met by audiovisual communication service providers in this area.

Specifically, the draft royal decree will develop the quota and advance financing obligations for European audiovisual works to which television audiovisual communication service providers are subject.
