Separate drainage of manure and urine by means of a manure and slurry channel with manure scraper to reduce ammonia

Amendment to the Ministerial Decree of 19 March 2004 establishing the list of the low-ammonia-emission farm animal housing systems implementing Article 1.1.2 and Article 5.9.2.1a of the Decree of the Flemish Government of 1 June 1995 laying down general and sectoral provisions on environmental protection

Flanders is making significant efforts to reduce ammonia emissions by the agricultural sector. Ammonia emission reduction measures play an important role in this. For this purpose, a list of ammonia emission reduction measures is included in the regulations, which also describe the way in which ammonia emission reduction measures can be included in the regulations.

The present amending decree adds some (alternative) conditions to the system of separate drainage.
