Draft Decree amending Decree No 128/2009 on the adaptation of veterinary and hygiene requirements for certain food business operators handling animal products, as amended
The draft Decree:
-- It expands the possibilities for food businesses operating in the retail sector by adjusting the definition of marginal and limited activities at the local level - in addition to the existing possibilities, it is now also possible to supply food to retail establishments or local markets up to a distance of 100 km from the supplying business.
- It expands the possibilities of poultry or rabbit farmers by including the slaughtering of poultry or rabbits in retail activity; at the same time, it lays down the quantitative limits and conditions for this activity, including the labelling of the meat from this slaughter.
- It allows the supply of products made from heat-treated (pasteurised) milk to establishments providing catering services in educational, health or social institutions, while the ban on supplying products made from raw milk to these establishments remains in place.
- It changes the percentage limits for the quantities of meat, meat products, dairy products or fishery products supplied to another retail establishment as part of a marginal and limited retail activity from weekly to annual.

b) Decree No 128/2009 on the adaptation of veterinary and hygiene requirements for certain food business operators handling animal products, as amended, the version uploaded to TRIS is the version effective from 1 January 2023, last notification 2021/0027/CZ
