Draft Decree amending NMHH Decree No 7/2015 of 13 November of the National Media and Infocommunications Authority on national frequency allocation and on the rules of use for frequency bands and NMHH Decree No 5/2024 of 23 April amending that decree

With the amendment of NMHH Decree No 7/2015 of 13 November of the National Media and Infocommunications Authority (NMHH) on national frequency allocation and on the rules of use for frequency bands and NMHH Decree No 5/2024 of 23 April of the National Media and Infocommunications Authority amending that Decree, the aim is to revise the national frequency allocation and the rules of use for frequency bands, pursuant to Section 10(1)(22) and (24) of Act C of 2003 on electronic communications, with particular regard to:

(a) the obligations arising from relevant international agreements, thus
(aa) the fulfilment of obligations related to ITU's (International Telecommunication Union) decisions, and
(ab) and the fulfilment of implementation obligations due to changes in EU rules,
(ac) the administration of the changes made to CEPT/ECC (Electronic Communications Committee of the European
Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations) documents,
(ad) the administration of the amendments that were made to the regional arrangement concerning the radiotelephone service on inland waterways,
(ae) the administration of changes to international coordination documents,
(b) the creation and/or clarification of rules related to the introduction of new applications, user needs, and
(c) the incorporation of text clarifications of a technical nature, based on the experience of enforcement authorities.
