Chemical products (blocked pipe dissolvents) that:
— contain potassium hydroxide (KOH) or sodium hydroxide (NaOH);
— are classified as Skin Corrosive in hazard category 1A in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP); and
— are intended for clearing and cleaning drains.

Regulations amending the Swedish Chemicals Agency’s Regulations (KIFS 2017:7) on Chemical Products and Biotechnological Organisms

The products specified in point 6 above require authorisation for use, if the use is not in a professional capacity.

The products may not be transferred to non-professional users without such authorisation.
