The purpose of this Technical Specification is to lay down the requirements for the configuration and construction of a cabin suitable for the installation of monitoring and control devices for the geotechnical behaviour of the work.
It is usually a small cabin–chamber constructed in the area of the work and the term Work site instrumentation control cabin [in Greek Τερματικός Οικίσκος Οργάνων (Τ.Ο.Ο.)] has prevailed. It may be a permanent construction or assembled box-type units transported ready-made on site.
