The purpose of this Technical Specification is to lay down the requirements for the thermal insulation of air ducts for the intake, return and recirculation of air-conditioned or pre-conditioned air using foamed elastomeric materials, as specified in the Study.
Materials based on rockwool or glasswool according to Technical Specification ELOT TS 1501-04-07-02-01 are used for the application of fire-resistant insulation of the elements in an air-conditioning airducts network.
