The Technical Terms of Supply for Portable Light-signalling Systems [TL transportable Lichtsignalanlagen] set out requirements concerning the design, dimensions, construction and test methods for portable light-signalling systems, which are used, pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulations (StVO) and the Guidelines for Traffic Safety at Construction Sites on Roads (RSA) and pursuant to the Additional Technical Terms of Contract and Guidelines for Safety Work at Construction Sites on Roads (ZTV-SA), to control traffic at construction sites, around diversions, for school route safety or for similar purposes.
