The rules concern publicly accessible recharging points and have the effect of authorising the Minister for Transport to lay down rules requiring operators of publicly accessible recharging points to show the ad hoc charging price and the total purchase price in a digital display, cf. § 10 of the Bill.
Draft law on infrastructure for alternative transport fuels
The legislative proposal on infrastructure for alternative transport fuels imposes, inter alia, requirements on operators of publicly accessible recharging points for electric vehicles. The legislative proposal lays down requirements for the installation and operation of recharging points for electric vehicles on public land, as well as the continuation of the existing provisions of the AFI (Alternative Fuels Infrastructure) Act on the implementation of international conventions and EU rules on matters relating to infrastructure for alternative propellants, including the AFI Directive.
