The purpose of this Technical Specification is to lay down the requirements for the coring of reinforced concrete elements when no particular care is taken to avoid cutting bars of existing reinforcement.
Drilled holes are divided into blind holes (e.g. for anchoring new reinforcements) and through holes (e.g. for the passage of screws for clamping of external metal reinforcement plates).
