draft Regulation of the Minister of Climate and Environment on the measuring system

The Regulation sets out, inter alia, the detailed technical and functional requirements to be satisfied by the measuring system(s), communication standards between a remote reading meter and a remote reading system, the operation of remote reading meters in prepayment mode and the manner of billing in this mode, the manner of determining substitute metering data and corrected metering data, the manner of determining indicators of metering system communication effectiveness and reliability, the detailed scope of metering data and other information obtained from the remote reading meter, and information provided to the end client during installation of the electricity meter.

An integral part of the Regulation are its four annexes.
The entry into force of the Regulation is necessary to start the installation of remote reading meters fulfilling the functions set out in Directive (EU) 2019/944 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 5 June 2019 on common rules for the internal market for electricity and amending Directive 2012/27/EU (OJ L 158, 14.6.2019, p. 125).
